“Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”
— Mission statement of the United Methodist Church
What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus Christ?
How does one find transformation?
Do you wish you had more Christian friends?
Do you wish to live a more practical, down-to-earth lifestyle that reflects your faith?
Would you like to change your life and deepen your walk with God in just an hour?
Worship is one means of connecting with the healing power of God’s grace, but it really starts working in an exponential way when you participate in a small group of other believers and followers of Jesus, where you can process your spiritual experiences, be held accountable for your spiritual growth, learn, pray, and listen for the nudges and callings of God in your life. The small group opportunities at Windsor Community United Methodist Church are varied in focus, typical age group reached, and day, time and place of meeting. All are open for “drop-ins.” We are always looking for opportunities to create new small groups to meet the needs of other busy schedules and interests, so just let us know — and stay tuned here and in our weekly bulletin and monthly newsletter for additional announcements.
