During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are doing Bible study and worship online. If you would like to join the Bible study group, via Zoom, please email Pastor Laurie at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the Zoom invitation for Bible study.
With 100% of our congregation fully vaccinated, we are feeling confident that our COVID risk is quite low and plan to return to weekly in-person worship celebrations indoors on Sunday, July 25.
If you are not vaccinated, we ask that you please wear a mask. If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you stay home. Anyone who feels safer wearing a mask is welcome to do so — no shame and no pressure.
A few things will look different. We will probably be singing along with lyric videos for a while until a new musician is hired. We will not have a formal “passing of the peace” time during worship; instead, you are encouraged to greet others outside before and after the worship celebration. We will not have a coffee hour for now. Pre-packaged communion will be served to worshippers in their seats. Instead of a bulletin, a brief flyer with important announcements and prayer requests will be available for worshippers to take with them as they leave; this information will also be posted on the website.
The weekly online videos will continue to be posted on YouTube.
If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Laurie or Cindy
ALL ARE WELCOME — AND ALL MEANS ALL!
A mix of contemporary media, traditional and new songs, live piano and singing, a relevant, biblical message, laughter and occasional surprises, here at Windsor Community United Methodist Church we invite anyone to join us in celebrating God’s love and listening for God’s voice. You don’t have to know “the way we do things” or the words to the songs; we like to say: “We are in the grace business!” You’ll experience a warm welcome no matter what your age or ability or where you come from.
Worship music is a mix of newer and more traditional music led by piano and sometimes a small group of singers. On the first Sunday of the month, Holy Communion is offered at our open table (all are welcome; gluten-free is available).
