Every Wednesday, we’re serving soup lunch to Windsor residents. It is wonderful opportunity to meet new people and get to know your neighbors! Participants are requested to bring an ingredient: a bit of whatever is growing in the garden, or something from the pantry. The kitchen opens at 11:30 AM; lunch is served noon – 1 PM.
Other than a soup ingredient, this is offered free to the community. Please join us!
Don’t know what to bring? A dessert or something that can go into a salad is always a good bet — or a pantry item (such as a cup of uncooked rice or a can beans) that can go into the next week’s soup. A rotating menu will be published here soon!
Meat ball stew (Italian style vegetable and meatball soup)
Black bean and roast pork — vegan option is curried squash (a leftover), salad
Asian style bean thread noodle soup — lightly spiced with spring vegetables and shredded chicken.
If you can, please RSVP to 838-6898 each week by Monday at 5 PM — but don’t let that keep you away!
