This respectful, open-minded discussion group wrestles well with the challenges of reading the Bible in the current day in a warm and supportive environment. We don’t have to agree on everything, yet we are a community of spiritual pilgrims and we learn from each other.
At times we turn to respected Bible scholars for additional insights. Some sessions include video segments, and at times we read a Bible-based book together. Homework is optional, however, and drop-ins are always welcome. Newcomers have found this is a good place to make Christian friends.
During the month of September 2024, the group is doing a five-session study created by Rev. Adam Hamilton called Unafraid: Living with Courage and Hope in Uncertain Times. This is a good time to try out an in-person small group experience! (The Tuesday Zoom group is addressing the same topic using a devotional guide that is a companion resource for this study.)
